1. It is common knowledge that the first impression of a person influence deeply on the developmen­t of the relationsh­ip between this people in the future. We never get a second chance to make a first impression so we try a lot to look good at the parties and in other places where we could meet unfamiliar people.
2. Well-groomed appearance gives some advantages either in career or in private life – such an inner history contains in most the advertisin­g slogans that encourage us to use cosmetics. In modern society where we attach so much significan­ce to social status and its trappings, it is a very strong motivation.
3. Many girls take a fit of someone else’s mold of beauty as a duty. Often the parents encourage them on doing it: give them to school for models, inspire that nobody needs her ugly appearance, and if a girl could not be a catwalk model she gets depressed and take no care of her appearance at all.
4. Teenagers take so much care of their appearance, they try to look perfect. They are concerned with appearance more because they suppose that they certainly must to fit of someone else’s mold of beauty imposed by society. This standard is not just imposed but it is assumed as a goal to achieve. Any deviations from the standard unconditio­nally seen as a threat to the health and happiness.
5. Research shows that many patients taking plastic surgery suffer from fixed ideas and obsession with their appearance. In the West, the fashion on correction of the appearance is becoming so popular, that psychologi­sts even gave the name of this obsession with the appearance - "beauty craze" (a person is so distorted perception of their body that no improvemen­ts in the appearance do not satisfy them). The main target for formation a dependence on appearance are women, although many men are affected too.
6. For many people, plastic surgery is associated with beautiful appearance, a lack of wrinkles, imperfecti­ons, scars and other physical problems, but we should remember about the risks that are related with these procedures. Even today, when the technology has reached unpreceden­ted heights, plastic surgery has a lot of dangers and side effects.

2. Well-groomed appearance gives some advantages either in career or in private life, and our thoughts and opinions about beauty products encourage us to use cosmetics. In the society we live in, we give so much importance to social status and to people's opinion of us, that we end up creating a trap that motivates us to reach certain beauty standards.
3. Many girls think beauty is mandatory and often, their parents force them to have certain beauty standards: they tell them that nobody has to see them being this ugly. This leads girls to think that they cannot be catwalk models, getting them to be depressed and not interested in taking care of themselves.
