We never get a second chance to make a first impression so we try a lot to look good at the parties and in other places where we could meet unfamiliar people.

They are concerned with appearance more because they suppose that they certainly must to fit of someone else’s mold of beauty imposed by society. This standard is not just imposed but it is assumed as a goal to achieve. Any deviations from the standard unconditionally seen as a threat to the health and happiness.
