Many people have a close relationship with their pets. These people treat their birds, cats, or other animals as members of their family. In your opinion, are such relationships good?
Many people have pets. I have nothing against the animals, but sometimes people have too close relationships with their pets. In my opinion, such relationships aren't good, because it replaces communication with other people.
It's a problem that should be solved. I agree that pets make us more responsible,
kind and can get the stress off, but I'm not sure that is right to treat animals as members of family. Pets can't give you an advice, talk to you and many other activities they can't do. Some people afraid to have a child so they have pets instead. From my point of view, it's wrong. Spending time with pets people forget about friends. Will their cats or dogs go out for a lunch with them or take care of them whilst they are ill? Obviously, not.
It's interesting to walk with a dog or enjoy listening to your birds. But person needs in society, the requirement in communication is in our nature. Another thing is that we get an information from other people.
Take all these factors into account, my opinion is that relationships between people and pets shouldn't be too close. It's good to have a pet, but everyone should see difference between animals and people. Pets can't replace live communication anyway. It's important to understand that only friends can help us when we are in trouble.
